Description
This is a free pattern for a colourwork cowl in crochet which incorporates the waistcoat stitch aka csc and you will be working with multiple yarn strands at the same time (4ply fingering weight). This is the perfect project for using up your leftover yarn.
Please note: It is essential for the csc stitch to keep a loose tension and NOT to pull at the inactive strand of yarn. Insert your hook with the tip of the nose first (not the tip of the head) and pull the right strand of the stitch slightly to the right before pushing through. It also helps to keep your colours in separate yarn bowls to make yarn management easier. Colourwork crochet cannot be stretched by blocking.
