Description
As soon as I saw these two skeins of contrasting Hedgehog Fibres lace weight merino, I had to put them together into something wearable. But it’s 2.4 kilometres of yarn! That’s a lot of stitching.
Using a repetitive yet interesting lace pattern in the shawl and periodically changing colours kept it interesting for me. However, this took months. Literally. So, I decided to write this as a flexible, fully customisable pattern. This means you can use any yarn and hook that you want to create any size shawl you want!

The photos attached in green is the shawl made in the smallest size (1) using dk yarn and the mauve/orange version is the largest size (10) using lace weight yarn.

This is a Tunisian Crochet project - detailed instructions and charts are included to suit all skill levels.

This pattern includes an interactive Ribblr chart and an alternate PDF downloadable version of the same chart.

Materials
Yarns
Any yarn ranging from lace weight yarn to aran weight can be used to make this shawl. For the laceweight sample, I used 2 x 100g skeins of Hedgehog Fibres merino lace yarn in colour ways Birthday Cake and Monarch.
Hooks
Chose the best hook size for your yarn weight (refer to table under measurements). A long long enough to hold 10 loops is required, this can be a standard crochet hook.
