This is a crochet graphghan/throw pattern using the corner to corner (C2C) crochet technique (also can be used for cross stitch, single crochet, and other fiber work using block patterns).
THIS PATTERN DOES NOT TEACH THE C2C TECHNIQUE!
You must know basic C2C stitches, the ability to increase, decrease at the corners, C2C color changes, and be able to finish off the last stitch. C2C patterns are made using slip stitch, chains, and double crochet (dc) stitches.
This Elk pattern does not contain the letter ‘J’ as shown in the pic.
