Description
This is (loosely) inspired by 18th century purses, but with a modern witchy twist to go with my Beckton Collection.
Ive also included instructions for an optional strap to convert it into a cross body bag.
I use mine as a notions bag (like Annie) but. It can also make a cute dice bag, or if you make a larger size, a candy bowl for Halloween! Add the strap, and youve got a great trick or treat bag!
Stitches used are:
Chain
Single crochet (US)
Double Crochet (US)
Reverse Single Crochet (US)
The pattern has example photos worked up on chunky cream yarn on a 10 MM hook, so you can see the stitches more clearly.
The yarn is easy to substitute. If you dont like working with worsted weight, please feel free to substitute with another yarn.
I would consider this an intermediate" pattern, but I think an advanced beginner could also work this up without issue.
