Description
I've designed this pattern to produce a very comfortable hat that can hold its shape really well even with lots of wear, in addition to accommodating a wide variety of hair lengths and thicknesses. The brim is constructed by holding 2 strands of yarn which creates the ideal firmness in the fabric. It has a nice checkered look along the center of the hat which adds interest and color! I always crochet a small round of elastic at the bottom of the hat for a nice secure, long lasting fit. The pattern instructions explain how to do this. However, it is optional so if you do not want to include elastic you can skip that part. I am happy to help, so if you have any questions please don't hesitate to reach out.
