Here is an easy pattern for a crochet chicken amigurumi. It's a great project for crocheters of all skill levels. It's a no sew pattern and works up quickly. The way it is designed, the pattern works up super fast and turns out fun and squishy.

Worked in a heavier yarn, it makes the perfect palm sized chicken, worked in worsted weight yarn it makes a perfect keychain.

Yarns

Any yarn, any weight, I‘ve made this pattern with both Bernat Blanket and worsted weight yarn.

Hooks

Hook appropriate for yarn, but go down a couple hook sizes from what you would normally use. My tension is tight, I used an 8mm hook for the blanket yarn and a 4mm hook for the worsted weight, but you will probably want to go a bit smaller than that so the stuffing doesn‘t show through.
