All of my patterns feature the same consistent layout which is easy to read and understand in US American terms. It is easy to find all the information you need to make this project. It lists materials, gauge, size, pattern key, any special stitches, notes, and then the pattern instructions and assembly.

When you are finished, your teddy bear lovey should measure approximately 17" x 15" x 5.

FO - Finish Off
St(s) - Stitch/Stitches

Special Stitches:
V-Stitch - (DC, ch 2, DC) all in the same stitch/space.

Notes:
Read through the entire pattern first.
The head and ears are worked in continuous rounds. Do not join while making the head. Use stitch markers to know where your first stitch in the round is.
Blanket part is worked in joined rounds.
Beginning ch 3 does count as your first double crochet in each round of the blanket part.
Sl st does not count as a stitch throughout the pattern.
Alternative to MC - Ch 2; x SC in the 2nd chain from the hook.
Repeat stitches between * and *.
