This large chunky mushroom features a poppable top. It works up in about an hour. It works well as a fidget toy for kids and adults as well.

When making this pattern I used premier just chenille with a 5mm hook and my mushroom came out to approximately 7 inches. You can use a thicker chenille yarn with a 6mm hook, or a worsted weight with a 4mm hook, however if you do the size may change (bigger yarn and hook size = bigger mushroom, smaller yarn and hook size = smaller mushroom).
