Gauge is not critical for this pattern. You can adjust the size of your pumpkins by using different yarn weights and hook sizes. Most importantly, you want to make sure your stitches are tight enough that the stuffing does not show through.

This crochet pumpkin pattern contains a few intermediate-level techniques, such as working in the round, increasing and decreasing stitches, and special stitches.
