Description
Citrus twist is a variation to the Lemon Peel stitch. Lemon Peel is loved by many and used on lots of projects from blankets to wearables. This thick, textured variation makes an interesting sweater with its playful and unusual asymmetrical V neckline. Pattern is worked:
Ribbing into the chest..
Ribbing into the back.
Ribbing into the sleeve X2.
Finally, add the neckband. At the end of the pattern there are 3 finishing suggestions for the neckband..

The texture is created using stitched FLO and BLO, and stitches of varying heights.

The sweater was designed with men in mind but this can be adapted to a female shape and there are notes on increasing and decreasing for shaping.

Extra care is needed on the asymetrical V neck. The decrease happens over the stitches of varyng sizes and care must be taken to get this part of the instructions right or the main pattern can get thrown off. There is a table to guide you through this section. You must be ok with invisible decreases and stacked stitches. This is the trickiest part of the pattern, but if you take the time to read the instructions and study the notes and table you will get through this. It is worth the effort.
