This is a cloche hat for an 18-inch doll (such as American Girl Doll), meant to replicate the style of Kit Kittredge's 'meet' hat.
I used european 8/8 yarn but you can use DK, light worsted, or maybe even regular worsted yarn and the pattern would work. You do not really need 50 grams of yarn, maybe 12.5 grams.
