Description
Coal is a monster representing the Element of Fire. He is a bit clumsy but would love to be your friend.
This amigurumi is worked tightly to avoid holes between the stitches. It is done with single crochet in the X version (yarn under, yarn over).
The flames are worked with two types of yarn together to create a cool effect.
For the head flame you can either use both Friends Cotton 8/6 and Friends Kid Silk or just Friends Cotton 8/6. You will find the instructions for the last round in the Big Flame section. Friends Kid Silk is used to give a smooth and cool effect to better represent fire.
The other parts of the pattern can also be worked with just Friends Cotton 8/6.
Finished size is approx. 28 cm. If you share some photos of your own Coal on social media, don't forget to tag me! @mariecatmade or #mariecatmadepatterns
