Description
Unicorns are not very rare in my house. My six-year-old daughter loves them, which means, of course, that my 1-year-old daughter does too!
This Ribblr pattern includes the fully written pattern and charts for the interlocking crochet technique. See other listings for the overlay mosaic crochet technique.
Interlocking crochet is a colorwork method that uses only chain spaces and double crochets. You create two layers of mesh with two contrasting colors. Only one color is used for each row and you alternate between the colors for each row. The double crochet stitches get placed in front of or behind the previous row of mesh which creates the image!

Yarn weight and hook size can easily be adjusted, just keep in mind your finished project will use a different amount of yarn and be a different finished size.
