Written Pattern
Magic Ring
Row 1 - x18 half treble crochet, slip stitch close
Row 2 - slip stitch, double crochet into each stitch
Change yarn colour
Row 3 - Chain 3, skip a stitch, slip stitch in the next stitch, chain 3, skip a stitch, slip stitch in the next one, chain 3 - slip stitch into the base of the beginning chain stitch
Row 4 - On the chain - Double, half treble, x3 trebles, half treble, double, slip stitch into the slip stich on the previous rows slip stitch, repeat this for each chain
Row 5 - x7 doubles along the edge of the petal - slip stitch in same slip stitch as the previous row - repeat this around.
Change colour
Row 6 - Starting anywhere on the 4th row - Slip stitch, chain 4, skip 3 stitches, treble crochet in the 4th stitch, chain 2, skip 3 stitches, treble crochet in the 4th stitch, repeat around the flower beginning from the chain 2, at the end, slip stitch into the beginning chain at the 2nd chain
Row 7 - Slip stitch in the next stitch to be in the centre of our first chain, Chain 3, next chain over do a half-treble crochet, chain 2, in the same chain do another half-treble crochet, half-treble in the next chain, chain 2, half-treble in the same chain, half-treble in the next chain, chain 2, treble in same chain, chain 3, treble in same chain, chain 2, half-treble in same chain, half-treble crochet in the next chain, chain 2, half-treble in the same chain - repeat the pattern around to make edges and corners
Row 8 -Slip stitch to be in the middle of the chain
Chain 1, x2 half-trebles on the chain from the previous row, x3 half-trebles in the next chain, x3 half-trebles in the next chain, FOR THE CORNER: x3 half trebles, chain 1, x3 half trebles - keep this going around the square, slip stitch close.
