Pattern piracy is a serious issue that, sooner or later, affects most, if not all designers.
Every year, thousands of patterns are illegally copied, shared and even re-distributed.
Every time that happens, designers lose out.
They lose their fair pay for their time, their work and their unique creation. And in time, they also lose their motivation, their spirit. Indie-designers in particular, are the ones who often never recover.
