Description
This pattern is worked by completing base panel, and worked around it, but in rows, instead of rounds, due to the checkerboard effect.
This pattern mainly uses single crochet stitch only, decrease, slip stitch and a chain.
Decrease stitch is completed by pulling up a loop in first stitch, then pulling up a loop in next, yarning over and pulling through all 3 loops.
To change colour, leave your last single crochet two loops and do not pull through, grab new colour and insert to complete the last single crochet of current colour. Throughout the pattern you will see instructions to change the colour, as an example Cc to B, this means you will need to change colour to B (green) colour on your last stitch.
Number in the brackets at the end of each row is total number of stitches for that row.
R in front of the number means row and number after it shows which row it is.
From * to * repeat shown number of times.
