Description
Crochet chunky granny stitch sweater pattern
This pattern is written for sizes XS-S, S-M and M-L and pattern instructions are written in this order.
R followed by number stands for round/row and number of the round/row you are completing. As an example, R4 means it is round 4 for all sizes, and R10(11,12) means you are at round 10 for size XS-S, round 11 for size S-M and round 12 for size M-L.
Number in the brackets at the end of each row indicates number of total stitches for that row. As an example (24 Dc, 8 Ch), meaning for that round you will have 24 double crochets and 8 chains in total for all sizes or (5, 6, 7) means size XS-S has 5 Sts, size S-M 6 Sts and size M-L has 7 Sts.
From * to * is a repeat shown number of times, as an example *Dc 3, Ch 2* x 3, means you will complete 3 double crochets and chain 2 three times in total.
This pattern is worked by completing front and back panels, assembling it together, crocheting both sleeves onto it and completing it by crocheting cuffs and collar ribbing.
Yarn used for this sweater is by Paintbox Simply Super Chunky 100% acrylic in colours Pure Black, Paper White and Wine Red, however any yarn in Super Chunky weight will work with this pattern.
