I created this crochet bag, as I love having a pretty crochet square in the center of my crochet bag. Crochet flowers are pretty, and surrounding them with smaller textured crochet flowers similar in design and texture just made sense.

I used Double knit weighted crochet cotton for this example bag, and a 4mm crochet hook, the finished tote bag has a height of 16 inches or 40 centimeters, a width of 11 inches or 28 centimeters and a strap drop - meaning from the top of the crochet strap to the opening of the crochet bag of 15 inches or 38 cm as i wanted a bag that had a strap long enough to fit over my shoulder, and which would not be to long if i quickly had to fetch something from within the bag.
Note that the finished size of this example crochet bag is based on using the above-mentioned yarn and crochet hook.
