This is a beginner friendly pattern that is perfect for practicing a range of stitches!

All of the stitches included in this pattern are made up of the 'basic stitches'. These basic stitches are as follows...
* Double crochet (dc): insert hook into stitch, yarn over, pull through stitch, yarn over, pull through 2 loops

* Treble crochet (tr): yarn over, insert hook into stitch, yarn over, pull through stitch, yarn over, pull through 2 loops, yarn over, pull through 2 loops

* Half treble crochet (htr): yarn over, insert hook into stitch, yarn over, pull through stitch, yarn over, pull through 3 loops

* Double treble crochet (dtr): yarn over twice, insert hook into stitch, yarn over, pull through stitch, yarn over, pull through two loops, yarn over, pull through two loops, yarn over pull through two loops

A bobble stitch (BO) is included in this pattern, which is a variation of a tr stitch. This stitch is described at the appropriate point in the pattern.

Here are some other abbreviations that you will come across in this pattern...
* Chain (ch): yarn over, pull through loop

* Back loops only (BLO): rather than crocheting through both strands of yarn in a stitch, just crochet through the back loop
