Description
This is my crochet pattern to recreate a kufi worn in Pakistan from a photo sent to me in an inquiry. A kufi should stay on without digging into your head.
Stitched from the top down, I used the following stitches: single, slip, half double and double crochet, using my vintage D size hook (3.25mm).
This version used about 2 ounces of Luster Sheen acrylic fingering weight yarn in white, but any color or fingering weight cotton or wool would make a fine beanie.
