About the Pattern:
The Cross Section Socks are a simple sock design, with a twist! The sock pattern utilizes simple knitting techniques and beginner-friendly cables to achieve a fun look. The socks are made top-down, utilizing a heel-flap and gusset.
Sizing:
1 (2, 3, 4) for a sock circumference of
7.5 (8, 8.5, 9) inches / 19 (20, 21.5, 23) cm or a foot circumference of 8.5 (9, 9.5, 10) inches / 21.5 (23, 24, 25.5) cm
Recommended Yarn:
270 (290, 330, 355) yards / 245 (265, 302, 323) meters of Cascade Heritage Sock, Patons Kroy Sock, Rohrspatz & Wollmiese Pure 100% Merino Superwash, OR similar fingering weight yarn.
Materials:
US 1 / 2.25mm circular needles/DPNs
US 1.5 / 2.5mm circular needles/DPNs
2 Stitch Markers
Preferred blocking supplies
Gauge:
32 sts / 40 rows = 4 x 4 in or 10 x 10 cm
Worked in Stockinette
