Cute phone bag with snap ears:

The instructions are variable, so this pattern can fit any phone and can be done with any yarn and appropriate hook. I made this bag to hold my Samsung phone inside its existing case as a cross body bag but the same bag fits my daughter's Google pixel which is a fatter phone so have your phone on hand to make sure your bag will fit nicely.

I used chunky yarn for the bag and strap, but it was too fat for the snaps to attach so I used thinner yarn for the ears. If you don't have a plastic snaps attacher gadget, then the large sew on press studs can be used and it then doesn't matter how thick your yarn is and you'll only need two colours.

It was important to me that the closing of the bag was above the screen height to prevent phone damage hence the ear close method. Pattern includes alternative ear shapes so the same pattern would work for cat instead of bear.
