I used a thin yarn with a 2.5 mm hook It was a simple pattern to follow if you don't mind some sewing The mini hippo turns out so cute

Absolutely loved this pattern super easy to follow. Only thing is if you're using a thicker yarn it may seem a lot longer but tbh it looks better longer.
