Description
These cute striped legwarmers are easy to knit and great for layering over leggings. They're knit in the round in a broken rib pattern that up close resembles dancing flames; the pattern gives them a nice texture and adds to their elasticity, so they fit a range of sizes. I've designed these to fit ankle-to-knee, but you can easily add extra pattern repeats and make them as long as you want.
Supplies:
1 ball Plymouth Yarn Encore Colorspun (75% acrylic, 25% wool; 100g/200 yds; shown in color #7510) - Color 1
1 ball Plymouth Yarn Encore (75% acrylic, 25% wool; 100g/200 yds; shown in color #1383) - Color 2
5 US 5 (3.75 mm) double-pointed needles
Stitch marker or scrap yarn
Weaving needle
