Description
Make a pretty, decorative vase with this crochet pattern! What can you store in your new vase? Lots of things! A fake flower, your favorite crochet hooks, some dried plants...or nothing! Simply use them to put a pop of color on a shelf. You can either stuff it, or use the glue-hardening method to make it hold its shape! The glue-hardening method is fully explained in the pattern if you've never done it before.
>> Pattern level: advanced (or ambitious) beginner. Must be comfortable working in the round, and increasing/decreasing to shape.
>> Sizes included: two sizes, depending on the hook you use!
Bigger size: approx 4 inches tall x 4 inches wide (4mm hook)
Smaller size: approx 3.5 inches tall x 3.5 inches wide (3.25mm hook)
Use super bulky yarn and a big hook and make a really big vase! Or go tiny and make a doll-sized vase.
Materials needed:
- worsted (weight 4) cotton yarn
- 4mm or 3.25mm hook
- yarn needle
- tiny filling (details in pattern)
- aileen's tacky glue (details in pattern)
- ceramic bowl and plate for gluing
