Description
Dexter the Dragon is a fun knitted toy suitable for people of all ages!
Dexter is approximately 20cm tall and 15cm wide (with a wingspan of 26cm).
The pattern includes all instructions to make his body, head, horns, wings, arms, legs, and tails.
Materials required: a pair of 3.25mm knitting needles, double knit (DK) yarn of any colours required (main colour 100g and secondary colour 50g), wool needle to make-up, 4 stitch markers, a pair of plastic toy eyes (approximately 1cm in diameter), and toy stuffing.
Skills required: knit, purl, increase, decrease, cast on, cast off, break and thread, change colour at end of rows, work rows of more than one colour, sew seams, attach toy eyes. This pattern is of intermediate skill. All pieces are knitted flat using straight knitting needles.
