Simple, yet beautiful lacework adds a touch of elegance to any project. And whats the best way to make lace even simpler? Why, working it in the round of course! This means the knitting simply flies with rounds of knit stitches between rounds of eyelets. Throw in a little seed stitch for texture and youve got almost all my favorite elements.

I say almost, because to really be perfect this cowl needed that signature twist of curiosity: What if split the cowl into two halves--lace and stockinette? What if I used the lace diamonds natural diagonal line to do it?

Diamonds and Gold is the result of those questions. It blew me away and I cant stop wearing it!
