Description
This pattern is for a simple crochet doll body just the base structure without clothes or additional details. The design features a narrow neck and a slightly oversized head to give the doll a cute and whimsical appearance. However, due to the proportionally large head, it may not sit securely on the neck on its own.
To help stabilize the head and prevent it from drooping, I recommend to insert a small "spine" made of bent wire after assembling the body. The wire should run from the center of the head down through the neck into the torso. This hidden support will help the head stay upright and give your finished doll a neater, more durable look.
The doll is crocheted all in one piece, from the feet up to the head, with no sewing needed for the most body. After that, we'll crochet the arms separately and sew them on.
