This pattern is worked in the round, in one piece and no seaming is required.

All cowls and Scarfs in all sizes will start the same, the only difference is the starting chains. This creates the same look regardless of size.

Pattern calls for Worsted weight yarn, but can easily be alteres for Bulky weight by disregarding the gauge and using the hook size recommended for that weight. You can find the recommended hook size on your yarn label. This will also increase the final measurements of the scarf.

Approximately 145 yards for the Child Cowl, 200 yards for the Child Infinity Scarf, 175 yards for the Adult Cowl, 255 yards for Adult Short Infinity Scarf and 360 yards for the Adult Long Infinity Scarf.

Sizes will be as follows:

Child Cowl 30 inches in circumference and 5.2 inches in height

Child Infinity Scarf 52 inches in circumference and 5.2 inches in height

Adult Cowl 35 inches in circumference and 6.8 inches in height

Adult Short Infinity Scarf 52 inches in circumference and 6.8 inches in height

Adult Infinity Scarf 64.5 inches in circumference and 8.4 inches in height

You may add more rounds where indicated in the pattern to add more height to your piece. This will also affect your yardage.

Pay close attention to the beginning and end of your rounds so you dont end up with extra STS. I counted my stitches while making the odd numbered rounds to make sure I had the correct stitch count.

I have provided pictures at the end of the pattern to help with stitch placement at the beginning of each round.
