Description
The Japanese knot bag pattern on my blog has been a crowd favorite, so I decided to make another with doubled yarn to increase sturdiness and a slightly tapered body so that there's less sagging around the opening when you interlock the straps- giving you a tightly closed bag.

I used an 8mm hook and two yarns by Mainstays (Walmart brand): Purple Blend and Pink. One skein of each was enough to make this bag with some yarn left for a little pouch or bag charm.
