When I was looking for a double knit pattern for a keyboard scarf I couldn’t find one that I felt comfortable with. Most of the double knitting charts I see require the knitter to knit opposite and sometimes backwards on alternate rows and I didn’t want to have to keep track of when I had to switch. When I started writing and charting, I realized there were probably lots of other knitters who felt the same way. My charts for this pattern are to be read from right to left, bottom to top, and colors indicated in the chart are always the color for the first stitch in each pair. Stitches are simply knit as they are written and there is no need to reverse colors or stitches on alternate rows. The charts also have a F/B notation to let you know if you are on the front side or back.
