This pattern works up quickly and is a perfect gift for anyone who likes fantasy - not just dice goblins! Hide a sweet message or a trinket inside, or give it as is because it is a gift in and of itself.

The two pieces fit together through friction and want to stay together on their own without using anything else.

This dragon egg can contain two standard dice sets when made with 8/4 cotton and a 2,5 mm hook. Bigger yarn and bigger hook sizes will produce a bigger egg that can contain even more sets!

While indicated as 'intermediate', this pattern is easily followed by anyone but absolute beginners. This pattern is no'sew in the sense that the only required sewing is the tucking in of ends - nothing else!
