Description
***THIS IS A DIGITAL CROCHET PATTERN, NOT THE FINISHED PRODUCT IN THE PHOTOS. NO PHYSICAL PRODUCT WILL BE SHIPPED***
- All faux fur details are sewn on besides the tail. The tail is crocheted on using surface crochet stitches (detailed instructions provided).
- This pattern DOES require face shaping to get the desired face shape - without face shaping, your dragon will NOT look like what's pictured (detailed instructions provided).
- This pattern works best with a Super Bulky 6 yarn, but I have provided tips and alternative methods for anything that may go awry so that you don't have any issues translating this dragon into a worsted weight pattern!
IMPORTANT:
- This pattern is for personal use only. This pattern is property of crochetbykittengrll. You may not alter, copy, sell, or redistribute this pattern or any part of it.
- You may sell any finished plushies made from this pattern.
- If you decide to post any photos of your creations made with this pattern, I would love for you to tag me (@crochetbykittengrll on TikTok/Instagram/YouTube/Pinterest) as the author! I love to see and share everyone's creations!
NOTES - PLEASE READ:
- I use the yarn under/yarn over method, but you may use whichever method you prefer.
- All decreases in this pattern use the invisible decrease method because the regular decrease may leave larger gaps in your work. I highly recommend using the invisible decrease method.
- The bo used in this pattern is a 3 stitch bobble stitch, so you will completely pull through when you have FOUR loops on your hook!
- When I refer to 'left' and 'right' I am not referring to your POV unless specified otherwise - I am referring to the Dragon's left and right side. For example, the left ear is the the ear that goes onto the Dragon's left side, not the left side of your viewpoint.
- If you use worsted weight (medium 4) yarn, instead of super bulky 6 yarn, you will want to add an additional round to the beginning of each section that starts with mr 12. I make 12 sc's in my mr's when I'm working with super bulky 6 yarn to avoid any pointy tips, so here's what you'll do instead of Round 1: mr 12 (12):
> Round 1: mr 6 (6)
> Round 2: inc x6 (12)
> Continue crocheting the rest of your rounds as normal (starting from round 2 in the pattern), keeping in mind that you will have an additional row than the pattern calls for!
