This pattern includes both a written step-by-step layout on how to create dugtrio as well as a graph if you would just like to follow that way :) This pattern is great for using up scrap yarn as it doesn't require a lot of yarn with each color.

Gauge is not important for this just make sure all yarn used is worsted weight yarn to prevent any unevenness, majority of the yarn I had used for this was the big twist yarn from joanns.

I highly recommend keeping the yarn on the backside and just picking it up when you need it and not flowing it through your stitches so that way there are no odd colors shining through your stitches. YouTube has plenty of guides on how to control multiple colors while doing tapestry crochet if this does not make sense.
