Description
It is hard to imagine an easier pattern. It is the perfect project for absolute beginners and a bonus to boot, not a single purl stitch in sight! Use any yarn and any size knitting needles. The same basic triangle pattern will work to make a kerchief, a neck scarf, or a shawl. I listed the yarn and needle sizes I used in my samples, but the pattern will work with whatever you choose. I have also included how to make icord ties/bind off for the kerchief and a stretchy bind off for the shawl.
