Though it may look complicated, its really very easy. I made mine in stripes of 3 different colors, but you can do a solid color if you prefer. If you are a beginner, you should have no trouble with the stripes, as long as you are familiar with how to change colors. The stitches consist of half-double crochets and the bobble stitch (which is basically double crochets).

The headband is worked flat in rows. Its joined into a twist at the front with one simple seam.

So, even if you're a beginner crocheter, you can definitely make this headband!
