The pattern starts at the top of the head and works down, incorporating the paws and tail as you crochet and creating the belly through colour changes. The ears are crocheted separately. Some sewing is required to attach the ears, along with a little simple embroidery for the stripes, mouth, whiskers and nose. I've provided options for either safety eyes or crocheted eyes. Using DK yarn and a 2.5mm hook, Eggy Cat reaches a height of approximately 11cm. I have assigned an advance beginner skill level to this pattern. While the majority of it involves simple stitches, there is some assembly required in sewing components together. Additionally, there are a few colour changes to create the belly and crocheting the tail can be a little fiddly.
