The pattern starts from the top of the head and works down, incorporating the arms and feet as you crochet. The hat and hair are then crocheted as one piece. There is some sewing required for attaching the eyes, jacket, bow tie and hat and a little simple embroidery for the mouth and eyebrows. I've provided options for either safety eyes or crocheted eyes. Using DK yarn and a 2.5mm hook, Eggy Groom reaches a height of approximately 15cm. I have assigned an intermediate skill level to this pattern. While the majority of it involves simple stitches, there is some assembly required in sewing components together. Additionally, the rim of the hat is finished with crab stitch.
