Description
Meet Eggy Lucky, your charming companion for St. Patrick's Day festivities! This crochet pattern brings to life a delightful leprechaun, complete with a pot of gold and a four-leaf clover for an extra touch of luck.
The pattern starts from the top of the head and works down, incorporating the arms and feet as you crochet. The hat and hair are then crocheted as one piece. There is some sewing required for attaching the eyes and hat and a little simple embroidery for the mouth, eyebrows and buckles. I've provided options for either safety eyes or crocheted eyes. Using DK yarn and a 2.5mm hook, Eggy Lucky reaches a height of approximately 15cm. I'd love to see your completed projects; feel free to share them by tagging me on Instagram @dreamWeave.Creations or visiting my Facebook page, DreamWeave Creations.
I have assigned an intermediate skill level to this pattern. While the majority of it involves simple stitches, there is some assembly required in sewing components together. Additionally, the hair is created using loop stitch and the rim of the hat is finished with crab stitch.
Feel free to explore variations by swapping out yarn and hook sizes to achieve a different outcome, and get creative with experimenting with various colours.
