The pattern starts from the top of the head and works down, incorporating the arms and feet as you crochet. The accessories, hat and hair are then crocheted separately. There is some sewing required for attaching the eyes, hair and hat and a little simple embroidery for the mouth. I've provided options for either safety eyes or crocheted eyes. Using DK yarn and a 2.5mm hook, Eggy Tennis Player reaches a height of approximately 11cm. I have assigned an advanced beginner skill level to this pattern. While the majority of it involves simple stitches, there is some assembly required in sewing components together and a little embroidery for the mouth.
