Description
My little brunette pipsqueak daughter NEEDED to be Elsa for a solid 3 or 4 months - and her dark, short hair wasn't going to cut it. But she was also super texture sensitive (I can't blame her) and couldn't tolerate the usual dress-up wigs. She informed me in her little chipmunk voice that she "Can't let it go, cuz I don't have Elsa hair!"
So out of necessity, the Elsa hat was born. I wanted the hat portion to be knit so it would be lighter weight (than crochet hats), and stretchy. And then, obviously, it needed the iconic over-the-shoulder braid.
Channel your inner hair stylist after making the hat portion and make the perfect all-weather dress up hat.
You will get CONSTANT compliments and questions about your hat. So be ready for that.
