Entwine Slipover

Crochet ePattern

Description
The Entwine Slipover is a modern spin on a sleeveless vest, with a strong linear effect created by crocheting into either the back or front loop only. Wear it alone in Summer, or throw on over a crisp white shirt when the temperature plummets.
This pattern includes two options: either with holes to lace up with ribbon, or without holes to sew up. I love the flash of skin that the lace up version gives, and used a sheer black chiffon ribbon (that I whizzed up on my sewing machine, using some leftover fabric and my rolled hem sewing machine foot!)
I prefer to use a short turning chain (which doesn’t count as a stitch) and work the first stitch into the very first space, to prevent holes forming along the edge. If you prefer a chainless standing stitch technique, or like to use a turning chain that matches the length of the stitch being worked, feel free to use these methods instead!
