The Evening Stroll Dog Bandana is so lovely and using reflective yarn allows your pet to be seen much more easily at night as it reflects off of light such as street lights, flashlight, etc. Its a fast and easy project and is so simple to put on and off of your pet! The pattern uses worsted weight 4 yarn (reflective yarn, in any brand) and a 5.5mm hook. It offers dog sizes XS through XL. This could be used for cats and other pets as well, by following the size chart measurements to determine what size you need.

Many brands have a ”reflective” yarn which will be illuminated at night when exposed to a light source such as a flashlight or streetlight. You can choose any worsted weight reflective yarn. I used Hobbii Starlight. I used red for the main color and blue for the border.

Scissors, tapestry needle(for weaving in ends) are necessary, stitch marker and measuring tape are optional.

For making the tassels, you can use any item thats about 3” long to wrap your yarn around to make the strands. I often use a stack of post it notes for this purpose. Otherwise, you can use your fingers by wrapping the yarn around 3 or 4 fingers at a time.
