Description
- my first pattern :)
- i think this is intermediate... it uses some more advanced stitches/techniques like dc/tr (US/UK), sl st, ch, FLO, and BLO.
- IMPORTANT: this pattern is for personal use only. feel free to sell makes from this pattern, but DO NOT take credit for the pattern. do not sell, redistribute, or claim ANY part of this pattern as your own, or copy any part of the pattern without MY EXPRESS PERMISSION. NO LOOPHOLES!! (credits to @shrimpybrimpy for most of this, i copied like half her disclaimer and just took some liberties with capitalization XD)
- lots of thanks to my testers: @shrimpybrimpy @Bobacat123 @littlemisswonderful @iconixx
- intro (aka yappity yap yap): meet OAKLEY the octopus!! name credits to @shrimpybrimpy i wanted a nonbinary O name, and she gave me several! i thought Oakley was the most nonbinary, so i chose it!! PLUS, it's my close friend's last name. she has always supported me and my crocheting, allowed me to spam her with images of my creations, and is just generally awesome. so thank you, char! ily <3 /p
- credits (aka more yappity yap yap, continuing the intro): an ABUNDANCE of credits to @shrimpybrimpy, whose LOVELY patterns inspired me to create this. i wanted to make something simple for my first pattern, but not too generic either. i happened to be testing her tea party elephant - go check it out!! - and it gave me the idea to accessorize an octopus!! it took me several tries to make the octopus (let's just say the tentacles were a struggle... i miiiiiiight have forgotten how octopi work and tried to give it 12 tentacles :skull:), but i figured it out eventually!! oh and btw, "credits to @shrimpybrimpy" will be hereby abbreviated as ctsb :D
- fun fact: i started designing this on my birthday!! (january 22)
