Description
*More and improved photos coming soon*

This pattern is for a festival style halter bandeau and is a great project to use up scrap yarn. I have tried to make this as beginner friendly as possible so it is a very easy and quick top to make! There are optional customisations for more experienced crocheters or beginners wanting to expand their skills. This pattern uses US crochet terms

If you have any questions or feedback on the pattern feel free to message me on instagram @sarahmc.crochets. I would also love to see your work! If you post on instagram tag me so that I can see what you have created and share your work with my followers.

This is a made to measure pattern so there is no strict gauge and the stitch count for the rows is dependent on your measurements. This also means you do not need to use a specific weight yarn however I recommend DK or lighter. I recommend acrylic yarn for this pattern. This has not been tested with other fibres but if you use something else (eg. cotton or wool) please let me know how it turns out! I would love to be able to give this info to other users of the pattern.

Materials
Yarns
I recommend acrylic yarn that is DK weight (also known as 8ply or light worsted) or lighter. Use as many or as few colours as you want. I used 4 colours and approx 50g total (incl. the weight of the optional details) for an NZ size 12 top (UK12/US10/EU40). This should be the same weight and fibre yarn as the body. Colour could be the same as one used in the body or different. This will be approx 2g of yarn OPTIONAL FOR DECORATIVE EDGING. This should be the same weight and fibre yarn as the body. Colour could be the same as one used in the body or different. I used approx 3g of yarn. OPTIONAL FOR DECORATIVE EDGING. This should be the same weight and fibre yarn as the body. Colour could be the same as one used in the body or different. I used approx 7g of yarn.
Hooks
Main hook: .5mm smaller than the recommended hook for your yarn (eg. 5mm was recommended for my yarn so I used 4.5mm).
2nd Hook: .5mm smaller than the main hook (eg. I used 4mm). This will only be used for your starting chain.
