Description
No fall or winter wardrobe is complete without a pair of warm, woolen fingerless gloves. This is a
fairly simple, quick-to-work-up design that, with a slight change of gauge, you can use to make either
men's or women's gloves. You can knit plain versions like the ones here or, if you're feeling
adventurous, you could add in cables or colorwork.
Supplies:
For men's gloves:
Five US 6 dpns (or size needed to obtain gauge)
Gauge: 5 sts/inch
For women's gloves:
Five US 5 dpns (or size needed to obtain gauge)
Gauge: 5 1/2 sts/inch
For all gloves:
Worsted-weight yarn (I often use Lion Brand Fishermen's Wool, shown)
Two stitch markers
Ruler or tape measure
Stitch holders (scrap yarn will do)
