Description
Reusable water balloons are an easy to make toy for summer & bathtime fun. Crocheted using two strands of cotton yarn, they work up quickly and last for a long time, getting softer with use (laundry safe!)
This is a variation that turns the balloon into a fish shape, but it 'holds' just as much water and tosses just as far for a good, refreshing 'splat'!.
Crocheted with a 7 (4.5mm) hook and a firm stitch, two fishes can be made from one 2.5 oz. ball of Lily Sugar & Cream cotton yarn, so these make a really inexpensive handmade gentle toy.
