The Fleur de Lune Nightgown is a made-to-measure lacy camisole dress with minimal seaming and almost no ends to weave in. The perfect project for a single ball of gradient fine yarn! Construction Overview:
The dress is mostly worked top-down. First, the bust is worked flat then closed into a tube for easier fitting. The straps are made right after the bust, so you can try the piece on and check the fit before making the skirt. The waist has space for a ribbon to be threaded through and is made in rounds, continuing along the skirt and trim. Aside from the straps, the whole piece can be worked without breaking the yarn.
