This hat was the result of many attempts at creating a hat to meet my husbands standards and specifications. It ended up being incredibly simple and endlessly versatile so I guess he was on to something, and it still satisfies the texture lover in me.

Approx. 306 yards DK 3 weight yarn see pattern notes for larger heads. I used Lion Brand LB Collection One Hundred Percent Superwash Merino in Midnight Blue and Tutu. I recommend using merino if possible, especially for those with
hot heads as it can also keep you cool and prevent overheating.
