This pattern is written using US crochet terms with instruction for sizes XS S (M-L, XL-XXL) or can be made to measure.

I recommend using different weight and type of yarns, from aran, double knit and chunky, including variation of acrylic, mohair, merino and cotton yarn to achieve messy look.

This pattern can be easily customized, as it does not include instructions to what colour it should be changed due to the nature of the pattern. It is up to you how many different shades or colours to use and what colour scheme to make to design your sweater. Sweater in the picture has been made using 7 different yarns and colour was changed at the end of each row.

Chain 1 does not count as a stitch and after row of single crochets or half double crochets, chain 1, turn and start into your first stitch. Chain 3 counts as double crochet, chain 4 treble crochet, chain 5 double treble crochet.

From * to * repeat till the end of your row.

Colour change before last stitch finished, stop before pulling yarn through last 2 loops and insert your new colour to complete last stitch and begin working with new colour.
